Bay Area National Dance Week (BANDW) is a 10-day festival of free public dance events, which takes place in April of each year. As a celebration of our local dance community's extraordinary diversity, BANDW features movement styles ranging from ballet to modern, Argentine tango to classical Indian, jazz and hip hop to traditional hula, fire dance to Chinese Classical, Samba to belly dance, aerial to West African, contact improvisation and more. Bay Area National Dance Week 2011 is coming April 22-May 1.
